{My first UCLA football game as a Bruin, with my favorite Bruin} |
I was blessed to have the best big brother and greatest best friend for 19 years. We promised each other that we'd never really grow up- that we'd always appreciate life, accept adventure, and laugh at ourselves. He taught me to love with every ounce of my soul, and laugh with that same passion. He gave me my first Bible, took me to my first concert, poured me my first shot, and was there for my first broken heart. To know me at all, is to know him and his impact on my life... we may be apart in this life now, but our love will never end. It's been almost six years now since we lost him, but I hope that I have gone through life in such a manner to make him proud. And I hope that I can (and think I am ready to) seek out adventure and passion the way he taught me to... so here goes.
