About Me

If home really is “where your heart is”, then our new, little house on the river has become the home of so many friends and family. My parents’ move up to Oregon started as an adventure, which was quickly extinguished by tragedy. Now is our chance to start over, and to start a new adventure. We want to take the place that held and healed our family, and share it with our friends. We have come to this point together, and individually. My parents are turning the house into a sort of bed and breakfast place to share the beauty and serenity of the house on the river. I wanted to start this blog to share the memories and inspiration that have led me to the place where I am today as I (hopefully) find passion, joy, inspiration, and restoration on this new journey.
